GOD IS AWESOME AND GOOD! Allie and I went yesterday to Dr. Parker and God answered our prayers: everything is going perfectly! We are 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant with a projected birth time of March 10, 2008. The baby is where it needs to be, what it needs to be, and how it needs to be. Both of us got a good taste of what is really happening after SEEING these pictures. We were even able to SEE the heartbeat (as a little flashing motion toward the top right of the white rice-like figure inside the dark circle [amniotic fluid]) and HEAR the heartbeat! Talk about chills and goose bumps, being able to actually HEAR the newly developed heart beating, before there are any other organs or even a brain. How can anyone see and hear these things and it not effect them so deeply to abandon any idea that this all originated from a primordial soup 6 billion years ago?
My dad shared something fascinating with me last night: He said that in many Crisis Pregnancy Clinics, ultrasound/sonogram machines are placed to encourage mothers to rethink their plans to have an abortion. Listen to how effective this strategically placed machine has been: out of 40,000 or more cases, approximately2 women have gone ahead with their abortion! Can you believe that? That’s .00005%, which makes a success rate of 99.99995%! Oh if mothers could only SEE and HEAR that life was being formed in their womb, they would realize that a person is inside, not an underdeveloped worm-like fetus!
How do those same people reconcile verses like Psalm 22:10, Psalm 71:6, Psalm 127:3, Isaiah 44:24, Is 49:15, and Jeremiah 1:5? It’s obvious God shapes and forms us in our mothers’ wombs.
